VIR is a town on same named island 25 km northwest of Zadar. Thanks to the Mediterranean climate and its location Vir has more than 300 sunny days a year, is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday. Vir is connected to the mainland and there are many possibilities of organizing a number of trips in the area: Nin, Zadar, Zaton or one of the national parks: Kornati, Plitvice lakes, Krka, Paklenica in the Velebit mountain.
For those who do not want to just swim and sunbathe Vir is an ideal destination - there are a number of sporting activities such as cycling, mountain trails, skating, jogging, rent ATVs, scooters, watercraft or boat.
